I've helped 4 B2B subscription services go from zero to Β£1 million - All are still in business today. - All did it with fewer than 10 people. - 99% of revenue via self-service @stripe payments. The first Β£100K was always hardest. The rest came from repeating what worked.

What I don't get about you tech bros, is how on the one hand you can seem so smart in your individual businesses, and then when you turn your attention elsewhere, you can immediately appear so utterly ill-informed, factually inaccurate, naive, foolish and quite frankly dangerous.

Bonkers. This has already had more engagement than all but 4 of my posts on here. I only have 12.15% of the followers over there.

Based on my feed over in the good place the only person we're now all missing is @aarondfrancis. There is some creepy stuff going on to make up for his absence. My most popular post there is about databases. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ The rest of you are probably fine to stay here ;)

As with everyone else departing twitter, you can find us posting a lot more regularly (by comparison!) over here: bsky.app/profile/ffconf.org We also made a starter pack so you can follow all our speakers on bsky too πŸ’–

If you miss Larry (the blue bird) you might miss him less where there is a blue butterfly.

Is it normal for a profitable SaaS that's more than 10 years old to achieve: πŸ“ˆ 20% YoY active customer growth πŸ“ˆ 50% YoY revenue growth πŸ“ˆ 30% YoY MRR growth ...while keeping annual revenue per person above $250K? Asking for a friend who I think is doing rather well.
