I know I'm late but I wanted to polish it up. You can now use it at deno.bundlejs.com or edge.bundlejs.com both work, just use the share url queries you know and love... and get a bundle size badge, polyfilled bundle, metafile, json response, etc... 🧵 /1

the bundlejs API has been greatly optimized and it's now extremely fast, I don't have any strict numbers but it doesn't skip a beat... x.com/jsbundle/status/206313…

calling all bundlejs users, I'm trying to stress test the API and fix any remaining edge cases, thus far tarballs are now supported, jsr is as good as rain, etc... There should be very few packages that fully break the bundlejs api anymore, so throw me your challenging package.

I'm trying to move the bundlejs API to @Cloudflare Workers, I'm thinking it might potentially improve the reliability of the service but I keep hitting the 3 MB file limit cap.

bundlejs now support full react-native builds with including flow type transforms 🎉, etc... will only available in the API at first but should be coming to the browser soon

I am a regular user of npmgraph. Thanks for letting me know about pkg-size.dev Another neat project is @jsbundle (github.com/okikio/bundlejs). It computes minified and gzipped size.

A couple quick updates...the API is now caught up with the updates to the website, including but not limited to the package install size

One of the things that brings a smile to my face, is when when I see a bundle size then click the link for the bundle size and it leads to bundlejs (cc @jsbundle )

What do y'all think? The current syntax is basically unshareable, it is also very unstable and breaks too easily, it's tough to setup versions for it as well...so, I'd love you takes on this new version

Thinking of modifying @jsbundle's share URL syntax, for long term stability, readability, and easy sharing Thoughts.... gist.github.com/okikio/29162…

TIL, I had a bunch of bundlejs prs that were just languishing where I solved a number of bugs but just kinda forgot about... I've now re-fixed a number of these bugs, but separately 😅 I'm now cleaning up older prs

Great news, bundlejs now supports jsr.io packages (cc @deno_land) Just add `jsr:..` and you're good. PS. Under the hood it's just using esm.sh by @jexia_ BTW, I recommend checking out @brielov's `@oxi/result` on jsr, it's a wonderful package

TIL, each browser and runtime implements gzip and the CompressionStream slightly differently that's why the compression results for bundlejs in both the API and the Browser are just a couple KB's off. BTW, even Deno, and Node.js implement it slightly differently

TIL, Bun doesn't support CompressionStream...what's odd here is that Safari does...hmmm...is there a reason why?

Try @deno_land 🦕 modules in @livecodes_io playgrounds livecodes.io/?x=id/fav4mpibj… TypeScript modules can be imported directly from deno.land import { sprintf } from "deno.land/std@0.220.1/fmt/pr…"; uses @jsbundle by @okikio_dev #LiveCodes

Loving that Deno has `sprintf` available 🥳 deno.land/std@0.220.1/fmt/pr… Always found it strange that JS supports formatting strings in `Console` methods, but then you never get to use it anywhere else
