Lebkuchenherzen are a familiar sight at 🇩🇪 Xmas markets. Unlike soft lebkuchen, these are much harder - usually bought as souvenirs or gifts, not snacks. They come wrapped in film and with ribbons to hang up, with messages ranging from sweet, to more tongue-in-cheek!🤎

Celebrating National Pi Day (3.14) in style! Today I've had the joy of hosting @juergenthebread (GBBO 2021) in the Science Kitchen @uniofleicester for (ofcourse) a pie making masterclass.
We made a German Cider Apple Pie complete with a deep dive into the science behind it.
