Indian-origin restaurant manager in London sprinted across rooftops and caught a 3-year-old girl as she fell from a second-floor window after dangling for nearly 9 minutes. While onlookers watched in horror and police struggled to reach her in time, he acted without hesitation. The rescue ended with an emotional hug from a police officer. Funny how anti-India clips go viral worldwide within hours, but stories of Indians saving lives rarely get the same attention from major Western media or social media algorithms. Courage doesn't trend as easily as propaganda. But this hero deserves to be seen. ๐Ÿ‘

This day in 1999 Kargil War, when our Tiranga was unfurled on Tololing Top, the tide of the war changed in India's favour. Victory came because very able commanding officers led our bravest young soldiers in those high mountain peaks and knocked our enemies out against almost impossible odds... But victory came at a heavy cost. I urge you to please read and feel pride in our soldier heroes. Never forget #FreedomIsNotFree Jai Hind Ki Sena!
#KnowOurHeroes #KargilWar By this time in 1999, our Veers had wrested and unfurled the Tiranga on Tololing Top - the strategic peak vital to dominate the Srinagar Leh highway... a lifeline for India This was the turning point in Kargil War Two among many exceptional Commanding Officers who motivated their young officers and soldiers towards unimaginable valour on barren high altitude battlefield are in this picture... Let this tweet reach the ears of @sjaishankaroffc @marcorubio ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป After seeing the zero sensitivity of Marco Rubio over the call for the murder of three Indians by US forces, we must stop calling US a friend and we must wait for a chance to kill equal number of US citizens, that will be the most fair deal US can attack Venezuela, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, Rwanda , Uganda, Syria etc at their will but they should think twice before attacking anything related to India or Indian A request from prime minister @narendramodi to boycott the meeting with Trump in France, trump has killed your people and itโ€™s not even 12 days are over , we canโ€™t share a drink with him Hello Indians Let us all boycott everything which is American, if the govt canโ€™t do for itโ€™s diplomacy lets us all do it #BoycottUS #BoycottModiTrumpMeeting

US market is overvalued. US dollar is overvalued. US security umbrella is overvalued. The empire is gradually cracking. India is, despite its significant growth, in a complicated geopolitical situation. It could play the Soviets against the Americans earlier. But now the US peer competitor is China with whom we have a border dispute and who (like the US) also sees us, rightly so, as a long term threat to their hegemony dreams. We have no option but to triple down on Atmanirbhar Bharat in key areas of technology and defense while creating healthy interdependencies.

I now suspect that the reason @SarvamAI was turned down by SoftBank, Prosus, a16z, General Atlantic and Accel was because they were scared of how TALENTED @pratykumar and team are and therefore wanted to deny funding for them for fear of an Anthropic competitor and competition at the global level between countries. If you know anything about VC economics it's that every investment they make needs to at the very least have the potential to return their entire portfolio which requires a massive Total Addressable Market. In practice this rule tends to be so restrictive that you can't really afford to have any other rules, and there is little doubt that Sarvams team lacks anything but sky high potential. They also made it a point to announce this publicly as a signal to make it harder for Sarvam to gain funding because Venture Capitalists tend to be extremely herd like in their behaviour. Making this announcement shortly before the national level restriction of Anthropic was unlikely to be an accident as it must have been heavily debated, negotiated and finalized behind closed doors before the information became public. No biggie, the team is going to win out in the end. Because we have diversity and crowd and advanced digital infrastructure. We have an AI Talent Penetration Index which is higher than all OECD Countries. And open source needs a thriving ecosystem which we have. The headstart that Anthropic and Open AI had was a first mover advantage. What will end up mattering more is the last mover advantage - i.e. who builds out their product and ecosystem around it to use and create improvements. Ultimately the economics of comparative advantage and token costs will push the talent network to build on the Sarvam stack not the Anthropic one. And if they try to stop NVIDIA, then the @GoI_MeitY Semiconductor mission will only make us even stronger not weaker. Don't be fooled by the temporary challenges, time is on our side. America First. India First. Not the Same Thing. So not only did U.S. forces fire missiles at a commercial vessel carrying Indian sailors, resulting in the death of three Indians, the rescue of the surviving 21 sailors all Indian crew ultimately fell to Oman, US refused to help. The tragedy raises a deeper question. What exactly does America First or American nationalism mean? When many Western powers speak of nationalism, it often emerges from a civilizational experience built around power projection, military dominance, economic leverage, and geopolitical competition. Former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger is often quoted as saying: โ€œIt may be dangerous to be Americaโ€™s enemy, but to be Americaโ€™s friend is fatal.โ€ Consider the historical record. Iran in 1953. A democratically elected government overthrown with CIA involvement. Guatemala in 1954. Chile in 1973. Support for armed groups in Afghanistan during the Cold War. The invasion of Iraq in 2003 on claims of weapons of mass destruction that were never found. The bombing of Libya in 2011, leaving behind prolonged instability. Twenty years in Afghanistan ending with a chaotic withdrawal. The relentless eastward expansion of NATO after the Cold War ignored repeated Russian objections and contributed significantly to the conditions that culminated in the Ukraine war. Many strategic thinkersโ€”including American diplomats such as George Kennan decades earlierโ€”warned that NATO expansion would eventually create a severe geopolitical confrontation. Power is frequently projected far beyond American borders in pursuit of American interests. That is what โ€œAmerica Firstโ€ often means in practice. Indiaโ€™s nationalism emerged from an entirely different civilizational soil. The Indian nation was never conceived merely as a political arrangement. It was understood as a civilization. Dattopant Thengadi repeatedly emphasized that Bharat is not merely a State. It is a Rashtraโ€”a civilizational entity bound by a shared cultural consciousness. This distinction matters. If the nation is merely an instrument of power, then strength becomes the highest virtue. If the nation is viewed as a civilizational family, then responsibility becomes the highest virtue. In this instance - where US attacked a commercial vessel and refused to help the Indian crew - we can clearly see the lack of responsibility. While they claim to have started this war for some moral duty of the proud Americans, we can see the perceptions of morality of the Americans come crashing down. Indiaโ€™s nationalism has historically carried an unusual combination of self-respect and inclusiveness. When Yemen collapsed into war in 2015, India launched Operation Raahat. More than 4,600 Indians were evacuated. India also evacuated nearly 1,000 foreign nationals from dozens of countries, including citizens of nations far wealthier and militarily stronger than India. Some of those countries had even requested Indiaโ€™s help. The same pattern repeated in Operation Ganga during the Ukraine conflict. It repeated in Sudan. It repeated during the Covid period when India supplied medicines and vaccines to countries across the world despite facing immense domestic pressure. While US forced their vacvines on others with unreasonable conditions, India helped. India routinely rescues foreign sailors in distress across the Indian Ocean. This is not despite nationalism. It is because of it. Sita Ram Goel frequently pointed out that the Indian civilization never developed around a mission to dominate, convert, or conquer the world. Bharatโ€™s civilizational confidence came from the conviction that truth need not be imposed through force. The classical Indian worldview expressed itself through the ideal: Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. The world is x.com/SurrbhiM/status/206527โ€ฆ

There is something definitely wrong !! India continues to push the boundaries of freight transportation. After the successful deployment of double-stack container trains on the Dedicated Freight Corridor, Indian Railways has begun trials of triple-stack dwarf container trains. If scaled successfully, this innovation could further boost cargo capacity, reduce logistics costs, and strengthen India's position as a global leader in rail freight technology.
What's Wrong With India! First and only country to operate double stack container trains with electric locomotives.

Deeply shocking to read this official US statement, which contains absolutely no expression of regret or condolence for the loss of innocent Indian lives. How can a โ€œfriendโ€ and strategic partner be so deeply insensitive? Why couldnโ€™t a non-compliant commercial vessel have been stopped using other, non-lethal means? Is it not possible to disable a ship's propulsion or steering without firing missiles targeted to kill civilian crew members? Practically every merchant ship navigating these crucial waters has Indian crew on board. Are they all considered fair game for US missiles now? This approach is unacceptable and I hope @DrSJaishankar had said so to @marcorubio.
