#Melissa made landfall just 20 km from Black River, Jamaica which is home to many crocodiles. I visited in 2015 and went on a safari boat down the river. I'm wondering what kind of impact the storm will have on these beasts and the humans in the area.

Measurements from the Hurricane Hunters have recorded winds of ~215 MPH and gusts of ~252 MPH in the lowest 150 meters of Category 5 Hurricane Melissa’s southern eyewall.
