How dare you put fix in quotes. smash's online has barely functioned for 20 years. anyone who's even remotely passionate about the game is jumping for joy at good online. if you wanna point fingers, blame nintendo for making such a bad service that we have to fix it ourselves
it never should have seen a public release and should have been kept to private circles where it would be used responsibly
but nope we needed to "fix" the game's online for everyone and now the game is worse off for it
Definitely a terrible thing to happen both to these modders and the mod itself, but:
1. Most of us can still learn a LOT from mod less Wi-Fi
2. The people who ARE good enough are still able to use it with themselves for great practice (at least until a patch comes out)
Other than ending with an incredibly tough “a revolution requires sacrifice” I actually find this sentiment really interesting considering we assume Japan to have a great situation when it comes to online play
It’s almost like we ALL want Nintendo to improve this game
Genuine question (really not trying to complain but understand): why is the viewership experience for Genesis so rough?
I know there are lots of games happening but for a ticket price that expensive and such an international viewership, why is there no quad stream?
Does the price mainly go to keeping the venue 24/7, is it for flying out talent? etc.
Again I am curious more than anything, and I did have a great time going last year, but even at the venue found it a bit tricky to follow what was happening
