Known in English as the Shuswap People, their territory is 145,000 square kilometres in size.

The St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre will be closed all day on January 25th due to a scheduled power outage being planned by the St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corp. The Museum will reopen as usual on January 26th.
