Do not pay any fees for any service. @KCCAED —@Buzeki_Sharifah conducted an impromptu visit to Kitebi Health Center this morning where she toured the facility and commended the staff for upholding the core values of Client (Patient) Care, Integrity and Teamwork in the discharge of their duties. Services include; Antenatal/Postnatal, Immunization, Family Planning and others all Free of Charge.

I am in #Uganda, where the government has mounted a prompt and capable response to the outbreak of #Ebola. Screening at the borders helped detect cases arriving from neighbouring #DRC, and the country’s surveillance, testing and case management systems are doing steady work. Of the 19 confirmed cases so far, 14 were among people who entered from DRC and five are Ugandan nationals. Sadly, two people from DRC have died, and our thoughts are with their families. @WHO is supporting Uganda, alongside @AfricaCDC and partners across the region, as the country leads this response. With continued collaboration, I am confident this outbreak can be brought under control.

KCCA Engineers, mechanics and road safety experts toured the @KiiraMotors manufacturing plant on Friday as the city looks to strengthen public transport through the introduction of electric buses and future mass transit systems. The visit comes as Kiira Motors begins deploying electric buses in Kampala, with eight already operating under the first phase of a rollout intended to improve urban mobility and reduce pressure on the city's congested road network.
