Each one of these stories from the last week would have been covered daily for a month if a Dem admin did it: - $60M to fund UFC where a fighter insults a former First Lady - $14.2M no bid contract to resurface a pool and create an algae swamp - $200M taxpayer money for ballroom

- DOGE cut $300M in screwworm funding and now needs $1B from USDA to fight screwworm - $300B to Iran after a pointless war to achieve the same terms Obama achieved with the JCPOA for $1.3B The incompetence is truly staggering.

There would have been blotting-out-the-sun outrage if a Dem president ranted for weeks about how shitty the reflecting pool looked, handed a $13 million no bid contract to a business partner, only to see workers dumping toxic chemicals into it days after the job was finished.
They're literally dumping hydrogen peroxide into the reflecting pool this morning... 😳

“Socially speaking” and it’s always just successful while black.
Loathe as I am to defend Obama, because I feel he's responsible for a big chunk of why we're in such the mess as a nation (socially speaking) that we are today, but his Iran deal was 1.7 billion with strict 3.7 uranium enrichment limits. Trump's is 25 billion, another 300 billion in reparations, lifted sanctions, and he didn't even get a say in the Strait. And this is why Trump is "winning" the bankruptcy scorecard 6-0.

> save $15M a year by cutting a screwworm monitoring program > screwworm outbreak almost immediately > $1B to combat it Government efficiency
The Trump administration has announced they'll need to spend an estimated $1 billion to combat the New World Screwworm.

Racism was almost gone. But then the Obamas got elected and set our country back 200 years. 😡 Who agrees...

Is this dude being paid by the city at this point?
I had to look twice before realizing there were cars in these towers right in Downtown Chicago and now I can’t stop looking at them. How they‘ve managed to integrate a huge parking lot so well into the cityscape fascinates me. It‘s so aesthetically pleasing for some reason 😂

What a dumbass.
People are tired of watching the highly political @NBA. Basketball ratings are WAY down, and they won’t be coming back. I hope football and baseball are watching and learning because the same thing will be happening to them. Stand tall for our Country and our Flag!!!

A Hammond stadium is likely to direct more fan spending to Chicago hotels, restaurants, and clubs than Arlington Heights would, while offering targeted development/transit upside for the South Side. It’s the better deal for Chicago’s broader economy in this unfortunate 'soap opera'! (studies support this point of view, taking into account distances, current fan patterns, and project details—not guarantees, but good evidence.)
Decades? Well I guess it has FELT like decades 😂. Also still think this doesn't ever happen, but that's just my opinion.

Very funny subsect of people who are mad at the state of Illinois for having taxes and simultaneously mad the state didn’t bailout a billion-dollar franchise with their tax dollars.

Indianapolis, the largest city in a state with a metro population of 2.2 million, gets just three trains per week, yet that same state is willing to spend $1 billion on a football stadium for 8 events a year.

So many in Illinois who constantly bitch about taxes/Pritzker/Democrats/Chicago are upset they won’t give taxpayer money to billionaire NFL owners. So many in Indiana who badmouth Illinois for the same reasons seem pretty jazzed about paying taxes for a new stadium. #bears

The optimal outcome would have been a privately funded lakefront stadium. But this is a close second IMO. Glad I won’t be paying for these billionaire’s stadium.
