I just automated my entire ASO keyword research with ONE prompt. 🀯 I type my app name β†’ my AI agent pulls every App Store market, filters for high-demand low-competition keywords, ranks them, and adds the winners to my tracker. Used to take me hours. Now it runs while I watch. The TryAstro MCP is genuinely a cheat code πŸ‘‡

🧢 I'm selling Loopiva β€” Crochet for Beginners (iOS). ~25 organic downloads/day, 4.3% conversion, 15K impressions, ranking in 30 localized markets β€” all from ASO, zero ad spend. Selling because it needs video content I can't make. New owner gets the app my full ASO/localization playbook. Drop a comment if you're interested β€” and what you think it's worth πŸ‘‡

First sale from Switzerland. πŸ‡¨πŸ‡ Two days ago I localized this new app for the Swiss market. Today β€” $31.85, my first sale there. I'd never have reached this person with an English-only listing. Localization isn't theory. It's real money from places you couldn't touch before. 🌍

I've been posting these green charts for today. Here's the boring truth behind every single one: No viral hack. No ad budget. Just localized metadata low-competition keywords, repeated every day. πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ 45 πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ 39 β€” 25 countries climbing. Consistency isn't sexy. It just compounds. πŸ“ˆ

Did not expect this β€” my inbox is full of people asking me to review their app's ASO. Sorry if I haven't replied yet. I'm doing each one properly, not copy-paste. Want yours faster? Please reply with your app. I'll do public teardowns so the whole timeline benefits.

This prompt I used : My app is "App name" on TryAstro. Find the best App Store markets and keywords with: Popularity > 20 Difficulty < 60 For each keyword, show: Market Keyword Popularity Difficulty Priority (High/Medium/Low) Then rank the best markets, recommend the top keywords to target, and suggest the best localizations to add next.
I use @TryAstroApp to research every country separately. I ask ChatGPT how users discover apps in that market, analyze competitors and adapt my ASO strategy. Sometimes ChatGPT even recommends English keywords because users search in English more often than in their native language. The screenshots and app description are localized. The keywords aren’t always.

Shipped v1.2 β†’ localized into 20 markets β†’ 1 hour later, 2 new trials. ⏱️ I keep saying it: the App Store rewards apps that meet users in their own language. Localization is the most underrated growth lever there is.

This is the kind of win that proves localization isn't just a "nice to have" β€” it's a growth strategy. 20 markets in one ship and instant results. Indie devs sleep on this way too much!

This is what "high demand, zero competition" actually looks like πŸ‘‡ 64 popularity. 7 difficulty. Tons of people searching it. Almost nobody optimizing for it. A free ranking just sitting there. I found it in seconds β€” I asked the TryAstro MCP to scan every market and surface exactly this. 🀯

Paid ads aren't the cheat code most indie devs think they are. They take experiments, analysis, endless iteration β€” and they burn cash fast. The channels that quietly made me ~$16k (20% of $80k) cost nothing: β†’ ASO localized metadata β†’ localized app pricing β†’ website Search Console β†’ TikTok Control your ad budget. Build the free engine.

Everyone says the US App Store is impossible for indie devs. My app just jumped 101 there. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ And in Germany? Now ranking #6 β€” top 10, actual visibility, not just "climbing." Green across 25 countries, including ones I can barely pronounce (hi Uzbekistan πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Ώ). Localization low-competition keywords. That's the whole playbook. πŸ“ˆ

Most developers spend weeks optimizing onboarding to improve conversion by 10%. Meanwhile, a new acquisition channel can cut CAC by 60% overnight. Distribution is underrated.
okay Snapchat Unified attribution is NOT a drill 🚨 same app, same period: β€’ Unified Beta adset β†’ $4.47 eCPI / $9.22 D2 eCPA β€’ old Auto 7-day adset β†’ $14.79 eCPI / $26.71 D2 eCPA ~70% cheaper installs, ~65% cheaper cost per D2 shopper. anyone else seeing this on Snap?

Downloads up 29%. Sales flat. πŸ˜… Getting people to install and getting them to pay are two completely different games β€” and I'm clearly winning one and losing the other. For the indie devs who've cracked this: where do you look FIRST when traffic is good but revenue isn't?

A single setting change cutting refund rate by 50% is insane. If you're on RevenueCat and haven't checked this β€” do it now."
To @RevenueCat users, remember to change your Refund requests handling preference! It lowered our refund rate by 50%πŸ™πŸΌ

If you can't answer this in one sentence, you have a positioning problem β€” not a product problem. Clarity before code.

The era of shipping an app in minutes is here. Fable 5 a good idea = $11 in 5 mins. Imagine where this goes in 6 months. Wild time to be a builder.
built an app using fable 5 and it already made me $11 in 5 min.

Everyone says "localize your prices." Mostly good advice. But for AI apps it's a trap: your API bill doesn't care what country your user is in. Discount too aggressively in cheap markets and you burn money on every signup. Localize prices. Just watch your margins.
A day spent on ASO, app localization, and pricing optimization based on purchasing power parity can easily add $50–150/month from countries you weren’t even thinking about. Philippines: $165/month. Thailand: $88/month. Ukraine: $75/month. Chile: $53/month. Many developers ignore these opportunities because each country looks too small on its own. I recently saw advice telling developers not to localize pricing. You can find plenty of that advice elsewhere. But not from me. Localize your metadata. Localize your app. Localize your pricing. Small wins compound.

App Store Metadata Rules 1. App name: 30 characters - Include the brand and strongest relevant keyword. - Keep it natural and distinctive. - Formula: [Brand]: [Primary Benefit] 2. Subtitle: 30 characters - Explain the main benefit or audience. - Target secondary keywords. - Avoid repeating words already in the title. 3. Keyword field: 100 characters - Separate terms with commas and no spaces. - Use relevant, specific search terms. - Avoid duplicate words, unnecessary plurals, app, category names, and special characters. - Do not use competitor names or unauthorized trademarks. Format: row counter, pattern, beginner, yarn, stitch, project 4. Description: up to 4,000 characters - Optimize for conversion, not keyword ranking. - Lead with the strongest benefit. - Follow with key features, how it works, proof, and a download CTA. - Don’t include inaccurate prices or unsupported claims. 5. Promotional text: 170 characters - Use for new features, offers, events, or announcements. - It can be changed without submitting a new version. - It does not affect keyword rankings. 6. Metadata must match the product - Every feature and claim must exist in the app. - Clearly disclose subscriptions or paid content. - Keep screenshots, previews, description, and β€œWhat’s New” accurate.

Nobody warns you about this part of ASO: If you stop getting fresh reviews, your rankings quietly start to slide. πŸ“‰ Reviews aren't just social proof β€” they're a ranking signal. Let them go quiet and the App Store slowly stops trusting you. Watch what happened to me πŸ‘‡
