When you goad Trump to do something crazy, you don’t get to complain when you are left holding the bag. A lesson learned by Rudy Giuliani and now Benjamin Netanyahu.

A strong Times editorial argues Todd Blanche shouldn't be confirmed as AG. But the Times never mentions Blanche's managing the Epstein coverup, culminating in his meeting Maxwell and rewarding her for silence about Trump. Our elites are out of touch. nytimes.com/2026/06/15/opini…

There are 2 ways this can get a vote! 1) 4 Democrats and 3 Republicans on Rules Committee take a stand. or 2) Any 6 Republicans in the whole House withhold their votes for “the Rule” next week unless this amdt is allowed a vote in that Rule. (Dems always vote no on the Rule)

The extent to which MARTA is "cleaning itself up" for the World Cup vs. ordinary riders is visible in Decatur. The east entrance to the square is policed, staffed, and has fresh landscaping. The west entrance to the bus loop is degraded, has filthy sidewalks not power washed in ages, and broken glass at a bus shelter with what looks like a bullet hole (not fixed as of yesterday). Riders need to make an explicit demand to MARTA: treat ordinary riders like World Cup visitors after the games are over.

What a remarkable outcome: the world's largest ever oil supply disruption failed to create a major energy crisis. The IEA said 2026 shock was worst than 1973, 1979 and 2022 together. And yet, the cost of oil, natural gas, electricity and coal never surpassed the previous peaks.

Environmental review is one of the most popular obstructionist methods. The dirty secret is that they're not really about protecting the environment, they're about documenting impacts. You could be improving public transit (like decongestion pricing) or paving over paradise to widen highways. They only care that the paperwork is right.
Now that everyone can see firsthand the success of congestion pricing in NYC, looking back on the environmental review process feels even more absurd. 4,000 pages and 3 years of review to study the environmental impact of… using cameras and prices to reduce traffic.

Section 219 (was 224) of the NDAA contains a dangerous provision to integrate our military tech with Israel’s. @RepRoKhanna & I submitted an amendment to strike 219. I included the Rules Committee roster here; 7 of 13 members must agree in order for our amendment to get a vote.

But... we don't do political events at the White House. We've got laws about that.
I’ve been to every Republican National Convention since 1992. This @ufc is the best political event I’ve ever seen. USA! Happy 250th Birthday America. 🇺🇸

To all those who berated me on this platform for doubting that Trump cared about the human rights or democratic aspirations of the Iranian people, I accept your apology.
US President Donald Trump says he "never cared about regime change" in Iran. "This is third group we’ve dealt with… most rational group yet," he told the Wall Street Journal. iranintl.com/en/202606141396

At least for me, the US/Iran War has made it very clear which "experts", politicians, and social media personalities cannot be trusted under any circumstances to objectively assess reality. Ideological extremists, administration propagandists, and people desperate to stay relevant. Remember who told the truth, who objectively analyzed events, and who can be trusted in the future.

The fact WH is fretting about this is incriminating in and of itself. Also… Let me be clear: if the reporters actually got incriminating recordings and they sat on them to publish a book instead of breaking news, that is a complete dereliction of duty.

This is the environmental review for a 460-acre project with 6,000 homes. It started 36 years ago. If CEQA were in effect a hundred years ago, California’s population would be a fraction of the size it is today. This approach to development is fundamentally anti-American.
This was the CEQA EIR for Playa Vista "We wanted a bulletproof EIR. Bulletproof EIR meant if you fired a bullet at one end of the document, it can't come out the other end" - LA City Councilmember Ruth Galanter
