This year has been weird. Missed making the Olympic marathon team☑️ broken tibia☑️ world shut down☑️ converted mile PR (4:31)☑️ 5000m PR (15:11)☑️ and last night capped off the season with a 10,000m PR (31:07)☑️ 7th fastest ever by an American! Onward...to fast times & races

No Boston Marathon this year but yesterday brought me the same pre race nerves. I had the privilege to do my fire practical interview. It was hard and fun and everything I remembered and loved. 4 miles before, 8 hrs of fire specific work, 4 miles after…so tired and thankful

Love to see a brand supporting athletes late into their career! Courtney is amazing . Excited to see all she does

Salomon renews ultramarathon star Courtney Dauwalter's relationship through 2029! from @FootwearNews. Courtney Dauwalter, the iconic ultramarathon athlete, who has been with Salomon since 2017, has renewed her relationship with the brand, extending to 2029. Salomon has noted that Courtney should compete as long as she wants, and then, Salomon has asked her to move to a full-time role. Pretty cool deal! Well done Salomon. footwearnews.com/business/bu…, @SalomonSports , #courtneydauwalter

She is still later into her career than not 🤷🏼‍♀️ I know she’s a talent who wins. Absolutely amazing. Marathons and ultras are very different worlds. That’s just the reality. What a weird comment

You should never have to fight to be a part of something that you’ve earned. Go where you’re wanted and valued

I’m not trying to prove anything to anyone…except my @Garmin watch who still thinks I’m mediocre at running. IYKYK

It’s hard to not root for this guy. Job, family, running all the miles, playing the balancing act. You don’t have to choose one thing! Way to show up 👏🏻

For CJ Albertson, balancing being a dad and a coach/teacher at @Crush_Athletics with his marathon training can be challenging at times. But sometimes, he says he just has to accept being a "functional zombie." 😂 Albertson was the top American at the Chicago Marathon in seventh in 2:08:17. 🎥: flosports.link/4dQAjea #ChicagoMarathon

Just a silly thing from a necklace I got but I feel this in my core. Be unshakable, unstoppable, persevere through the tough times and celebrate the great

🗽 JUST ANNOUNCED: SHE’S BACK… Fresh off an Olympic bronze medal at the Paris Olympics, @hellen_obiri will return to the @nycmarathon to defend her title. She is looking to become the first woman to win back-to-back New York City Marathon titles since Mary Keitany’s threepeat from 2014-2016. 🇰🇪 She will be challenged by compatriot and 2022 NYC Marathon champion @shazrinee, who finished fourth at the Olympics. These two have now battled it out in New York, Boston and Paris. 👑 The field also features legends like Tirunesh Dibaba and Vivian Cheruiyot, who have won a combined 26 World and Olympic gold medals on the track and cross country between them. 🇺🇸 Dakotah Lindwurm leads the notable American contingent after her 2:26:44, 12th place finish in the Olympic marathon. Here’s a look at the field of women with sub-2:35 PBs ⬇️

When you’ve got nothing to lose it’s worth a fighters chance 😉 I can live with failing but not with not trying

What is with parents and snack for their young kids sports?! No lie my son gets 5 or more snacks after almost every game (all from one parent. Also, very little activity goes into 5yr old baseball) When did giving out a weeks worth of snacks become the protocol?! So damn weird

The stomach bug has officially got everyone in my family EXCEPT me…the puke cleaner…sick kid snuggler…the one in it all. Hoping I’m just “lucky” and my dues were paid by the above actions 😬

The only perk to being injured is that I focus on the things I usually neglect…strength/core/rehab. I’m going to be strong as shit come end of April 😳

It’s 8am…I’ve cleaned every kennel & dog bed (3!) that were all covered in dog 💩. Bathed a puppy that was also covered in 💩. Fed my tiniest human in the too early hrs. Fed/dressed all kids. Did 3 loads of laundry. Took the trash bins out. Fed the chics/collected eggs. 🙄☕️

Just wanting to run…the tricky thing with the femoral stress fracture is that you’re supposed to be non weight bearing for several weeks. I have 4 kids & 4 dogs & a life. How?! I try but honestly I find it so much easier to just go about life per usual & use crutches sparingly

This morning as I packed up Lego pieces (my pre race entertainment) and put them into a bag it felt fitting. Like I was gathering the broken pieces of me and putting them, not necessarily together, but back where they belong so that I can carry on when the time is right
