Nothing in known statistics forbids me from winning the lottery.
Travelling at 99.99999% of the speed of light a spaceship could cover 22000 light years in just 10 years of proper time. Nothing in known physics forbids this and there's no reason to believe a civilization existing tens of thousands or millions of years couldn't accomplish it.

Everyone who waited for "Codex Thursday" now understands how Windows users felt waiting for the Atlas browser, and the ChatGPT desktop app parity, and the initial Codex app release, and Computer Use for Codex. 🤣

I applied for & was accepted for free credits thinking, "Hey why not, the last model was decent enough." I figured I'd use them and move on. The model is great. I'm using it half the time vs using Codex. I'm converted & will be subscribing when my free credits run out.
MiMo-V2.5 is now available in OpenCode — free for a limited time. 🎉

One thing I like about it is it's creativity. It's a great brainstorming partner. If I'm stuck on something, I can say something like, "give me 3 ways I could present this info in a clear, attractive and efficient way" and it will give me some great jumping off points.

11:37am: I gleefully take advantage of a special offer from Google to have high rate limits in my beloved IDE, @antigravity 2:00pm: The Antigravity IDE disappears and is replaced with a basic agent terminal. What the hell, @GoogleAI !?!?

I am in the minority in that I have very little desire to control my agents from my phone. I mean I will, it's just laptop >>> phone any day.

I just filled out an application to get free tokens. Mimo is great, I've used it a ton in OpenCode. You can apply as well. (Not an affiliate link.) 100T Token Grant for Builders — 100T credits, open worldwide for a limited time. 100t.xiaomimimo.com/

Dear @FranksRedHot, the only time I cheat on you is with one specific brand of hot sauce and one specific flavor. Could you please make this so I can remain faithful to you?

I'm not going to whine about Github's alleged decline. I'd say almost no other service has had such liberal free tiers for so many users for so long. No one has come close to giving your projects that level of visibility and your users that level of access, hands down.

Completely agree. So many things I have made seem perfect in the first 30 seconds I am using them, but 20 minutes in I have a list of 25 fixes that need to be made.
The idea of "one shotting" an app using AI is a fugazi. If you had to describe my app and all the edge cases I have solved over the years, it would be a prompt the size of a small book, and my app isn't even that complicated. The people promoting creating a business overnight with AI are just selling a get rich quick pipedream. Those grifters are present in every cycle. AI has completely transformed how I work, but you can't push a button and make money. Doesn't work like that.

Does this count as build in public? I made a bookmark organizing tool that I've been using personally for months but now I am improving it to turn it into a SaaS. Figuring that out has been way harder than I expected & I was going to talk about that process. Is that acceptable?

Right now, the app lets you manually enter bookmarks or you can use the bookmarklet. It automatically pulls the favicon. Bookmarks can be dragged from one column to another. Currently it only uses local storage. Clear your history and your data is gone. That is what I am fixing.

Data can be exported as json. But I am looking at moving it to Supabase to start. It will be a normal database instead of the aforementioned local storage. There are no user accounts because it was my personal tool for me. That is being changed as well.

I want to like Anthropic, I really do. But they never seem to pass an opportunity lower the trust people should have in them.
For clarity, we're running a small test on ~2% of new prosumer signups. Existing Pro and Max subscribers aren't affected.

I use a selection of AI tools, some paid, some free. I had thought of trying @claudeai for a month to understand the hype and THIS guarantees I will not. If someone gets hacked and my credit card gets leaked, it gets canceled. My identity? Not so easy.

Claude now requires government ID verification (via Persona) before subscription. ChatGPT doesn't. Gemini doesn't. Anthropic just handed their competitors a gift.

Misleading. This is only in some specific cases, and other companies like OpenAI also do this. x.com/markvalorian/s…
