We are relieved to be on ballot! We are beyond grateful for Ed Mullen, our fellow slates @19thTogether @uniting24 and our amazing support team! Thank you @erin_hegarty for covering it! Bring on Feb 28th!
Replying to @erin_hegarty
Chicago Electoral Board *does not* go with the hearing officer’s recommendation to remove the district council slate candidates from the ballot. So the three district council slates in the 19th, 20th, 24th *will* appear on the Feb. 28 ballot as the slates they filed as.

The alarming thing is that even now George Santos still doesn’t make the cut as one of the top 10 most reprehensible members of the 2023-24 House GOP caucus

If women ran the country, and they passed laws affecting men’s reproductive organs, I wonder what the men would do?

When multi-billionaires take control of our most vital platforms for communication, it’s not a win for free speech. It’s a win for oligarchy.

The wealth of the top 1% increased by $6.5 trillion last year. It's not radical to tax the rich. It's radical to let a small group of oligarchs hoard that much wealth.

I can't resist sharing more pictures of the #hellhole that some of us call #Chicago. Sorry @DarrenBaileyIL, you're wrong. On so many levels. Proud to have a governor who's proud of our city and state, @GovPritzker.

57 years ago, the Voting Rights Act was signed into law. But today, voting suppression is real and once again targets communities of color across the country and our state. Organize. Vote. Our fight for free and fair elections continues in the streets and at the ballot box.

True.
Of all the things that I hate Trump for causing, me agreeing with Dick Cheney ranks pretty damn near the top…

#ECPSNow @chicagosmayor you should have appointed the Interim Commission 7 months ago. Take action now!

#SILsummerreading #sistersinlaw I just finished American Betiya by #anuradharajurkar. It's technically a YA coming of age story but the characters and story is much richer and more complex than the genre suggests. I loved it.
