The collaborative will issue their own vaccine recommendations and coordinate public health efforts.

I had a VERY naive perception of DV until I interned at a DV shelter. Babes Iām TELLING YOU, if you think DV is a black and white situation, you donāt know shit about DV. DV lives and thrives in the gray.

I havenāt talked a lot about the hard parts of med school (especially med school as a middle aged lady with four kids), because Iāve just felt so damn lucky to get the chance to do it. But it has been hard, of course, and uniquely hard in some ways for me and my family.

My 4 year old went for his annual checkup today.
He got his measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (MMRV) vaccine today, as recommended.
As a physician, I know how this will protect him, especially now.
And as a parent, I trust the safety of the vaccine.

I hate the diaspora wars. Iāve encountered more than a few people from the big islands unaware of common facts related to the smaller islands. Iāve lived in the US for almost 20 years and still learning about America. What is the point of this new discourse, I truly do not know.
