The Charlotte‑Mecklenburg School Board has agreed to pay a $95,000 settlement to the family of Ardrey Kell High School student Gabby Stout, after the district acknowledged it violated her constitutional rights. After Charlie Kirk was assassinated in September of last year, Stout painted an homage to him on the school's spirit rock.
