So proud of @DavidHJiang for leading this improving work reimagining quality measurement in #diabetes. We must focus on all domains of quality - effectiveness, equity, efficiency, safety, timeliness - to ensure optimal care & outcomes for all.

Honored to work with @BayleeBakkila and @SanjaybMDPhD on this study. Copay caps are important but $35 per month may still be out of reach to many low income families.

Reminder that passing #insulin4all legislation NOW is a critical response to #COVID19. Our chapter has seen a huge increase in needs for insulin, diabetes related supplies, and healthcare. Lack of access and high costs were an issue before and have now been magnified.

The mother @NSmithholt12 of Alec was arrested by Indianapolis Police just now for her protest outside @LillyPad. Protesting for affordable insulin. Alec was rationing his insulin because of the high cost and died 810 days ago. #Insulin4all

In this age of empowering patients, why are providers so reluctant to allow patients access to their own medical records? Crazy - and unethical. n.pr/2L9Sf8m Thanks @hmkyale for shedding light.
