I would argue that an MVP is more a prototype than a simplified version of the product you have in mind. The MVP might be totally different from what your actual product will be. It might be some tw threads that turn into a book/video series/whatever. Prototype to learn.
Your MVP is not a prototype It's the simplest version of your product that still provides value Don't overcomplicate it Start small, learn fast 🚀

How they make money … Great visually-engaging financial analysis by Bertrand Seguin, a 37 year old French investor, who spent 12 years at Japanese gaming company Bandai Namco explaining finance to his bosses … Sign up to his free newsletter: appeconomyinsights.substack.…

A hundred times, yes. This is why fintech is interesting. And then you see things like @ing_ro forcing SMBs into switching to an unfinished, wonky, overcomplicated thing called "ING Business"... Slide from @Autobooks_

Looking for @RevolutApp alternatives for personal banking. Important: good exchange rates, quick SEPA and cross border transfers and great customer support! This for a personal account, but keeping an eye out for biz account as well. @transferwise ... maybe others?

Hey @RevolutApp will you fix your damn application so that I can upload documents for you to unlock my account that you have locked for almost 3 weeks now? No reply from support, and if I get through I get the same response... someone will look at it. No alternatives, NOTHING.

The key flip here is to use the timeline as the frame around how people make progress. Then take each phase of the timeline & make it a sub-system of the bigger process. By doing this we can then look at the discrete progress people are trying to make at any point on the timeline

I just stumbled upon @mightycal_ and the timing is good since I've been thinking a lot lately about scheduling resources and meetings. Looks pretty awesome what they are doing, and great to see they are part of @tinyseedfund

For a bit of context... I've been busy on building the next generation of @mobiscroll components the past couple of months, and a brand new Scheduler is one of them. We've been working with 100s of customers on shaping it. I see a lot of struggle from people trying to build it.

Granted... our product is not helping people schedule, but it is solving scheduling (in-part) in their app. So I am playing with the idea of not just providing the UI blocks, but wrapping it into a more complete package.

I can recommend 1-2 read throughs and then check-ins for reference. This book basically teaches you how to think and is filled with actionable stuff. A lot of nuggets... and obviously... its about positioning.

What the hell is this ⁦@Bose⁩ ? For context: turns out you can skip only a predefined number of tracks in the app. #uxfail

To clarify, this is the app of an actual physical SoundTouch product I gave money for and it is using a subscription streaming service from @Deezer I am also giving money for.

The Sketch part helped me a lot. It was the final push for me from Photoshop to Sketch (for designing UI). Never looking back...
