Continued media framing of the US as being "dragged" into conflict, "trying but failing" to prevent war, or having "no influence" over its violent allies obscures the US' central role in driving and sustaining imperialist wars, whether in Palestine, Yemen, Sudan, or Lebanon.

Poor hapless United States. Couldn't prevent genocide in Gaza, couldn't prevent invasion of Rafah, couldn't prevent massacre in Lebanon, won't prevent invasion of Lebanon, can't stop itself sending 2000lbs bombs. What a weak, helpless nation, like a kitten.
