X is so fucked up meanwhile. I do not really use it anymore, but hesitated to sign off. It is time to do so. For those who want to stay in contact, there are other ways.

Today #Operaton released 1.0.0-beta-2. This is the first release build with @jreleaser . All relevant changes from #Camunda 7.22 have been adopted.
We are further working on dropping support for legacy platforms and modernizing the tech Stack.

The Camunda 7 fork #Operaton has gained over 70 GitHub stars within it’s first month. We gained already new contributors ❤️ I’m wondering if we can reach 100 ⭐️until end of the year? 🙏

I‘m honored that I gained now Committer status on project #Operaton 🎉🎁 Currently I‘m investing a huge amount of my spare time, working on build tasks, dependency upgrades and modernizing the #Camunda 7 based code. I’m incrementally upgrading 30k JUnit 4 test cases to JU5.
The popular #bpmn process engine #camunda7, whose EOL is planned for 2025, has been forked. Welcome #OPERATON as its successor!
With OPERATON this process engine will stay vital in the sense of an open and free #opensource project.
Contributions welcome!
