It’s really hard to learn how to use Icon Composer, especially for more complex shapes and designs. With the new speculars and refractions, even more so. I wish Apple published sample icons just like sample code, but since they don’t, this is the next-best thing.

Is there anything more annoying than a full screen view/modal that slides up but you can't dismiss immediately by swiping back down because of an inner scrollview bounce at the top that does absolutely nothing? I don't think so.

When you open the Mercury app while on a phone call, it tells you the call didn’t come from them to prevent scams.

A wild thing about Google Ads: hackers can run an ad showing your domain, but it actually leads to a phishing site. @Mercury got hit by this 3 years ago—but within a week, we launched a device verification system to stop it. I wrote up the story for our eng blog (link below)

Anyone knows what’s going on with dark mode icons on the App Store?
Some apps seem to have their transparent dark mode template exposed as app icon and we can’t figure out why.
(one sec is affected as well, but luckily I didn’t read the specs and included the background – so not as bad)

Anyone else having issues that the App Store shows the wrong version of the App Icon after the #iOS18 update?
For Study Snacks, the tinted icon is now shown in the App Store and on App Store Connect instead of the light one. The light icon is included, is visible under iOS 18 in light mode and is also shown in App Store Connect under the include assets.

I am ditching @stripe and start to use @mercury for invoicing now.
3% fee is driving me insane! For every $7K/m plan I sold, I am loosing $210 on Stripe fee.
Mercury recurring invoicing is only $35/M. It's definitely worth it. Who is with me using Mercury nowadays?
