Starvation. The unacceptable face of Israel’s war on Gaza. A doctor from an international aid agency took these pictures 10th April at Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza. The desperate parents gave permission to publish these.

JK Rowling is now, in all seriousness, retweeting articles written by Andrew Doyle from Spiked Online. The circle is complete. There’s no way back.

The Cass review isn't some "evidence based" sensible report. It's a straight up transphobic and conservative document. Within it it talks about "girls toys and boys toys", and the need to restrict transitioning for over 25's. Shameful that Labour wants to adopt it

Academic colleagues who work in areas concerned with research methodologies have a duty to speak up here. The Cass Review's methods are horrendously flawed. Yet it is being passed off as an 'independent report' that should be taken seriously. Integrity matters.

If a consultant body refuse to supervise PAs there is very little a trust can do. Our consultant body refused to train PAs in cardiology- Our view was that our trainees are our priority followed by ANPs. Guess what- no PAs

Matt Walsh is under the impression that transgender people have done nothing. On Trans Day of Visibility, lets look at some of the contributions, accomplishments, and amazing things transgender people have done. We have always been here.
What exactly have ā€œtransgender Americansā€ contributed?

And again, doctors have voted for industrial action. It was never in doubt. #PayRestoration #DoctorsStrike
BMA junior doctor members in England have voted by over 97% in favour of extending our mandate for industrial action, and to provide us with a mandate for action short of strike (ASOS). A huge thank you to all of those who voted. Read the full results šŸ‘‡ bma.org.uk/juniorspay

Just a reminder that JK Rowling is a fiction writer. She’s not a psychologist, psychiatrist, therapist, healthcare professional or a member of the LGBTQ community. Her opinions on trans & LGB people are irrelevant & should be regarded as the sensationalist nonsense that they are

Being a doctor is weird as you are held to infinitely high standards by everyone but also expected to play down that your job is high responsibility & intellectually tiring at times & have to act like any old rando could do your easy job so people don't think you're "superior"

This was truly terrible from Sunak. But let’s not kid ourselves - had Brianna’s mum not been there today, no-one (including Keir Starmer) would have batted an eyelid. It’s not good enough to stand against transphobia only when the mother of a murdered trans girl might be listening. It needs to be done all of the time.
Rishi Sunak attempts to attack Sir Keir Starmer over how Labour 'defines a woman' as the mum of Brianna Ghey, a trans teenager who was murdered, was sat in the Commons listening to prime minister's questions A shocked Sir Keir replies: 'Of all the weeks to say that... Shame'

Trans people are not a cheap punchline. They are human beings who deserve to live happily and peacefully as they truly are. Please consider donating to Esther Ghey's fundraiser, set up in memory of her daughter Brianna. gofundme.com/f/briannagheyme…
