It’s cringeworthy how painfully stupid this tweet is. Champ, did you ever think about why Black people have to be our own best cheerleaders? Nevermind, you don’t have the range.
Perhaps Kendrick Perkins (incorrectly) thinks white people vote for awards on the basis of color because so many black people vote and cheer for others on the basis of color. Of course, it’s totally acceptable and celebrated when black people do it. Issa Rae openly admits it here
