We're looking forward to deploying more BRUVS during #DY159 and as part of the #GlobalOceanWildlifeAnalysisNetwork! 🦈🐟🐠 Find out more ➡️ assets.publishing.service.go… @countingfishes

Replying to @AscensionMPA
We've already tested the BRUVS at various coastal sites around Ascension and have captured some fantastic footage of life below the surface. It's colourful, vibrant and busy, with lots of curious fish coming to say hello. (🧵2/2) #smallislandBIGVISION 📸:AIG

Alexander Remeslo, a marine ecologist and wildlife photographer, a big man with the romantic soul, who recently worked on #colossal #squid ecology and interaction with #Antarctic #toothfish fisheries succumbed yesterday to COVID19. Rest in peace my old good friend.
