UPDATE: The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) has condemned the abduction of former Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago, saying he was taken from his home by armed men, describing the incident as unlawful and politically motivated. Party Vice Chairperson Robert Centenary said the action amounts to an attack on the judicial system and a violation of human rights and freedoms of Ugandan citizens. He urged government to allow the law to take its course and to stop what he termed intimidation of lawyers.
