RE3, CV, RE4 and RE5 all put in the effort to connect characters together, push stories forward, make the setting alive and intricate. It's weird to think how RE9 couldn't find the time to give us even a scrap of what's going on with the Raccoon survivors besides its main cast.

Mind you, Claire contacts Leon for help and he helps Chris in locating her. A small but significant role & showing a proper interaction between both Leon/Claire & Leon/Chris in the remake would be a great addition to the original game.
