Một startup neobank KAST vừa huy động 80 triệu USD trong vòng Series A, tiếp tục cho thấy mảng ngân hàng số đang thu hút rất nhiều dòng vốn.
Nhưng câu hỏi quan trọng hơn là: Neobank thực chất là gì?
1️⃣ Neobank về cơ bản là mô hình ngân hàng vận hành trên nền tảng kỹ thuật số
Không chi nhánh, không xếp hàng, không thủ tục giấy tờ rườm rà.
Anh em có thể đăng ký tài khoản chỉ trong vài phút, nhận thẻ và quản lý toàn bộ tài chính ngay trong ứng dụng.
Một số ví dụ quen thuộc: Chime, Revolut, Nubank.
Phía sau, các neobank thường hợp tác với ngân hàng truyền thống được bảo hiểm tiền gửi (FDIC), vì vậy tiền của người dùng vẫn được bảo vệ.
2️⃣ Neobank đang “ăn dần” thị phần của ngân hàng truyền thống
> Nubank đã có hơn 100 triệu khách hàng.
> Revolut đang dần trở thành siêu ứng dụng tài chính, tích hợp crypto, đầu tư và thanh toán.
Đây chính là lớp hạ tầng tài chính mà người dùng phổ thông đang sử dụng mỗi ngày và cũng chính là nhóm người mà crypto cần để mở rộng adoption.
3️⃣ Kết nối với crypto đã bắt đầu
Nhiều neobank như Revolut đã cho phép người dùng:
> Mua/bán crypto trực tiếp trong app
> Lưu trữ nhiều loại tiền tệ
> Chuyển tiền toàn cầu với chi phí gần như bằng 0
Nói cách khác, neobank giống như “con ngựa thành Troy”, đưa crypto đến với người dùng phổ thông mà họ thậm chí còn không nhận ra mình đang bước vào thế giới crypto.
Điều này quan trọng với adoption hơn rất nhiều so với việc ra mắt thêm một Layer 2 mới.
4️⃣ Neobank đang giải quyết những vấn đề mà ngân hàng truyền thống thường bỏ qua
> Không phí duy trì tài khoản hàng tháng
> Không yêu cầu số dư tối thiểu
> Lãi suất tiết kiệm cao hơn
> Thông báo giao dịch ngay lập tức
Những dịch vụ này đặc biệt phù hợp với freelancer, người làm việc tự do, lao động gig, người trẻ và nhóm chưa tiếp cận ngân hàng, cũng chính là tệp người dùng mục tiêu của crypto.
Nếu bạn đang xây dựng hoặc đầu tư vào lĩnh vực thanh toán, neobank có thể là đối thủ cạnh tranh hoặc kênh phân phối người dùng cho bạn.
5️⃣ Rủi ro ít người nhắc đến
Phần lớn neobank không trực tiếp có giấy phép ngân hàng, mà hoạt động dựa trên ngân hàng đối tác.
Nếu ngân hàng đối tác dừng hợp tác hoặc cơ quan quản lý siết chặt, mọi thứ có thể rối rất nhanh.
Vì vậy, sức mạnh của một neobank phụ thuộc rất nhiều vào ngân hàng đứng sau nó.

CZ just posted calling out "false claims" about his personal life, confirming he's officially divorced (way before today), and offering a $1B bet to prove it—demanding an apology or else.
godblessban is advising star_okx to skip the drama, issue formal legal demands for correction/apology, or sue—saying the company has the cash and shouldn't tolerate "petty people."
Typical exchange rivalry stuff.

All investor unlocks are now complete, and at the same time, $ETHFI got listed on @Official_Upbit KRW, the largest exchange in Korea.
That matters.
Why?
• 78% of max supply is already circulating
• A $50M buyback program has been approved
• Even in a bearish market, ether.fi is guiding for $68M in projected revenue in the base case this year
So let’s frame this clearly:
A token with most of its supply already in circulation, sell-side overhang materially reduced, buybacks in place, and a protocol still projecting serious revenue in a weak market.
