I guess you donโ€™t know there are vendors abiding with property rights just 50m from that spot whose rights nobody seems to care about . And theyโ€™re wondering why they pay council fees๐Ÿคท๐Ÿพโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Try this more measured, wiser version: No serious society should treat the informal trader as an enemy. Often, he is simply a citizen trying to survive where the formal economy has failed him. But compassion should not blind us to order. A market cannot be built on desperation alone. It needs space, sanitation, safety, rules, property rights and dignity. The real tragedy is not that people are trading outside OK. The tragedy is that Zimbabwe has allowed survival to spill onto pavements, then mistaken disorder for empowerment. A humane state does not chase vendors away. It organises them.

Honest question: Why do we only amplify the negative about Zimbabwe? ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ผ Yes, the political and economic struggles are real and affect daily lives. But Zim is also topping global travel lists right now, our farmers and innovators are peaking, and the culture is unmatched. Let's change the algorithm today. Drop some positive news, local businesses, or creators doing amazing things in Zimbabwe right now! Retweet to spread the good stuff.

Like we have said before, what is happening in Zimbabwe and South Africa is spiritual. The time is coming when corrupt leaders, politicians, thieves, looters, and those who have treated people like modern-day slaves will be forced to answer for their actions.

A new type of U.S. ballistic missile (PrSM), used experimentally for the first time in an attack on a stadium in Lamerd, Fars Province, on 28 February 2026, detonated above the target and dispersed thousands of fragments (tungsten balls) designed to maximize human casualties. As a result of this attack, at least 21 teenage male and female athletes were killed. Another evidence of Trump's war crimes

One of the most brutal scenes in human history has been leaked. Footage from an Israeli aircraft shows thousands of starving Palestinians running towards an aid truck, before it bombs and kills them all. A video that the world must never forget.

Zimbabwe, Geo Associates Sign Landmark Petroleum Sharing Deal. The Government of Zimbabwe and Geo Associates, an 80%-owned subsidiary of Invictus Energy, are set to sign a Petroleum Production Sharing Agreement (PPSA) today, establishing the legal framework for Zimbabweโ€™s emerging oil and gas sector. The agreement covers the 360,000-hectare Cabora Bassa Project and is expected to become Zimbabweโ€™s model contract for future petroleum investments. Geo Associates is jointly owned by Invictus Energy (80%) and Mutapa Investment Fund (20%). The signing comes as Invictus advances preparations for the Musuma-1 exploration well, targeting 1.2 trillion cubic feet of gas and 73 million barrels of condensate, with drilling planned for the second half of 2026. The wider Cabora Bassa Basin, home to the Mukuyu gas field, has been ranked among Sub-Saharan Africaโ€™s largest recent petroleum discoveries, with estimates of up to 20 trillion cubic feet of gas and 845 million barrels of condensate.

Ordinary South Africans don't benefit anything from these relationships we have with other African countries. Its only the big guys at the top who have business interests in those countries and they want to keep those relationships at our expense.
