We hear your complaints from LV. Here's our offer: Do 16 Carat as your big wrestling trip instead of WM. No dynamic pricing. Get a full weekend with 7 nicely produced, on time, quality shows with engaged crowds & worldwide top independent talent starting at around 180 EUR. Spend a wrestling festival with like-minded, open, positive wrestling fans. No fear of erratic border controls or deportation. Decent quality hotels at affordable prices. No spike prices for public transportation. Affordable food prices in restaurants. Drinks sold at a fraction of the US prices. Want to do more? Travel destinations like Amsterdam, Paris, Hamburg and Cologne are a short train ride away. Vienna, Budapest, Berlin and Rome are less than 2h on a plane. No visa needed for EU travel from a lot of countries including USA.

I was invited to share our experience about replatforming our separate Android and iOS applications using Expo, read all about in the latest entry of their blog over here

😲 @leopyc loves iOS development. He has a Swift tattoo on his right thigh. And he recently led a migration to @reactnative. Here are some of the outcomes for @zenjobcom since making the migration: ♢ Feature lead times dropped dramatically, with development cycles shrinking from weeks to days and sometimes even to hours. ♢ Deployment frequency increased by an order of magnitude thanks to over-the-air updates. ♢ Perhaps most significantly, mobile development transformed from a bottleneck to a company-wide capability. ♢ The shared design system improved consistency across platforms while reducing design debt. ♢ From a talent perspective, hiring became easier as we could tap into the larger pool of React and TypeScript engineers. ♢ Engineering satisfaction improved dramatically. Since the migration they haven’t had a single complaint about mobile development. Drink this one in slowly. Savor the logic the blog below ↓

"Why did the Swift developer cross the road?" Thanks to Swift's powerful libraries, you can call a JSON API and decode the results in just a couple of lines. And thanks to @icanhazdadjoke, there's a bad pun waiting on the other side... #DadJoke

🪟Having a transparent and open engineering culture in an organization is incredibly important, but it's easier said than done. In a new post by Chris Jimenez, learn how we prioritize honesty to encourage behavior that aligns with our values. medium.com/zenjob-tech-blog/…
