Much of the work we do at @winterlightlabs is confidential - it’s really gratifying when we can finally make the research public! Working with @genentech has been very productive!
The cat is out of the bag! Yesterday we presented our work at #AAIC2021 with @genentech exploring audio recordings from their phase 2 trial. We found associations between linguistics, acoustics and standard measures of cognition! newswire.ca/news-releases/wi…

Sums up my feelings. Another good example of a thing that seems crazy and only for the wealthy was the original Tesla Roadster. It was a stepping stone to mass producing the model S and ultimately accelerating the sale of electric cars.
The dumbest part of our national discourse at this moment is: Oh those crazy space billionaires! How dumb are Bezos, Musk, Branson—spending $1 billion building rockets to fly themselves to space? What a silly Gilded Age echo of ego, indulgence, not to mention tone-deafness.

Excellent way for founders and employees to give back to the communities that either helped them succeed or are less fortunate!
"Why I decided to pledge? I've been pretty fortunate over the past 5-10 years and I want to share that with people who haven't been as lucky as I have" - @liamkaufman , CEO and Co-Founder of @Winterlight

I know I’m getting older, but using geriatric seems severe!
Geriatric millennials are born between 1980 and 1985. ā†”ļøBelieved to work across office divides, the micro-generation are comfortable in both an analogue and digital world. Born in 1982, @RosaSilverman has welcomed "this sudden, late arrival of a generational identity"

The contrast in Canadian job losses across occupations is staggering. The number of employees in lower-paying occupations was down 30% y/y in April, while mid-wage was down 20%. Employees in high-wage occupations? ONLY DOWN 1.3% y/y!
