Bang on. Leave out class privilege and you are a massive hypocrite slipstreaming on genuine marginalised people.
I’m going to annoy ppl with this but I’m going to offer a partial dissent from the consensus. This man comes across as self-regarding and insincere. He is using ‘oppression points’ like it’s a game of snakes and ladders to get to the top. He has conveniently left out any

A grim elderly endgame played out in CARE @youngvictheatre . Zeldin clever, caring, but theatrecat.com though septuagenarian itself not convinced.

Wonderful burn of hapless Palestine obsessive William Dalrymple by @MaxJeffery_ in @spectator: “Read one interview with Dalrymple. He doesn’t even try to hide the falseness of it all. ‘As opposed to going to do the shopping, picking up kids from school,’ he told the Indian Telegraph in 2017, ‘Indian middle-class life allows you to send the driver to do one, the cook to do the other… and that means you can get a lot more done, frankly!’ In India, he said, he can lead ‘a bigger life’. It’s like being taught about the history of racism by a man dressed as a golliwog.” new-app.spectator.co.uk/arti…

11 trans people have been murdered in the United Kingdom since 2000. All of them were killed by somebody they knew. In that timeframe, 20 trans people have committed homicide in the UK, including one stranger killing. There is no trans genocide. There isn’t even any real persecution. When it comes to homicide, trans people are the safest demographic in the western world, and it’s past time that members of that community stop pretending to be the most victimy victims ever to be victimized.

Had to repost this 🤣 An oldie but one of the best!! *WHEN A FLY FALLS INTO A CUP OF COFFEE . . .* *The Italian –* throws the cup, breaks it, and walks away in a fit of rage. *The German –* carefully washes the cup, sterilizes it and makes a new cup of coffee. *The Frenchman –* takes out the fly, and drinks the coffee. *The Chinese –* eats the fly and throws away the coffee. *The Russian –* Drinks the coffee with the fly, since it was extra with no charge. *The Israeli –* sells the coffee to the Frenchman, sells the fly to the Chinese, sells the cup to the Italian, drinks a cup of tea, and uses the extra money to invent a device that prevents flies from falling into coffee. *The Palestinian –* blames the Israeli for the fly falling into his coffee, protests the act of aggression to the UN, takes a loan from the European Union to buy a new cup of coffee, uses the money to purchase explosives and then blows up the coffee house where the Italian, the Frenchman, the Chinese, the German and the Russian are all trying to explain to the Israeli that he should give away his cup of coffee to the Palestinian so there will be peace.

My Sikh community knew Digwa was a loose cannon and banned him from our Gurdwara. I had suspicions about him all along, just how the hell can a baptised Sikh act so recklessly with no regard to human life? RIP Henry

I don’t want to hear about Black Lives Matter. I don’t want to hear about White Lives Matter. Everyone matters. Henry Nowak matters.

Elderly grandmothers spreading lies about the Jewish state, demanding its boycott, and pressuring it to surrender to people who openly call for its destruction. Rarely has antisemitism dressed so sweetly. Rarely has it been so dangerous. Full story here: david-collier.com/antisemiti…

JK Rowling mansplained, by Sarah Ditum (@sarahditum) What happened to JK Rowling? If only there were some kind of primary source that could tell us why she became interested in the clash between trans activism and women’s rights — say, a first-person essay. But alas, the archive is silent. It must be, because why else would two male podcasters have taken it upon themselves to solve this supposed mystery? This week, the ‘Origin Story’ podcast, hosted by indistinguishable journalists Ian Dunt and Dorian Lynskey, bravely shouldered the burden of analysing Rowling over the course of two episodes. Do they succeed? Not remotely. But they do offer a fascinating insight into what happens when a certain kind of progressive man becomes radicalised by Bluesky. Read more below ⬇️ buff.ly/fyIiwWg

Inside the capture of the BBC, by Rob Burley (@RobBurl) In his 13 years as a senior BBC editor, Rob Burley saw the Corporation’s defining commitment to impartiality undermined by transgender ideology, a blind commitment to Diversity & Inclusion schemes, and a culture of intolerance. Informed by his experiences at Newsnight alongside other prestige shows, his major investigation reveals how the BBC took a side in the culture wars. He draws on extensive interviews with current and former staff — including journalists at the very top. Speaking out for the first time since leaving the Corporation, Fran Unsworth, the former director of BBC News, reveals in an explosive interview: “I would actually say it drove me out, just dealing with the progressive editorial issues and the bullying around them all. It was incredibly difficult.” Read more below ⬇️ buff.ly/7Fv4Ry8
