ALT A letter from President Biden

ALT Webb-Chandra composite image of the Cartwheel Galaxy, showing a neon pink disk with an outer ring, and a solid, slightly off-center spiraling core. Linking the smooth core and the irregular outer ring are wispy pink plumes of silicate dust which resemble twisted spokes on a bicycle wheel. In between these "spokes" are bluish pink regions. At the upper left of the image are two small companion galaxies, also pink in color. One companion galaxy is shaped like a backwards S, and is marked by bright white dots and tangles of fine crinkly lines. Below it, the second companion galaxy appears delicate and smooth, like a faded swirl of cotton candy.

Unlike the composite image, there appears to be no material between the "spokes." At the upper left are two small companion galaxies. The one on the top is shaped like a backwards S and marked by bright points amidst blue threads. The one below it looks like small glowing blue oval. The background is dark and filled with colorful dots in green, red, blue and more.
