NEW: The British politician, his Russian intelligence handler & a Kremlin plot against the US & Ukraine. My new piece about Nathan Gill and Nigel Farage for @thenerve_news in which we ask: Why, even now, is no-one asking questions?

Evening @edinhelp, The green man crossing on Leith Walk beside Pilrig church has been twisted & is facing the wrong way, it’s now pointing towards the church instead of towards the pedestrians waiting to cross. It’s still working though. Can someone sort it please?

It’s rose time again! So beautiful, heavily scented & still a few different colours about to bloom. I’m luckier cos the peach one isn’t even in my garden but a neighbour doing a cheeky peek over the fence. 🤩 #Rose #BackgardenFlowers #ScentedRoses #Leith

Any ideas why Cambridge Av has reopened @edinhelp @JackRMCaldwell ? No advance notice, no signs & now we’ve got folk speeding onto what was a dead end. Temp barriers removed & all that was closing it was the bins which have been pushed aside. Are the fixed bollards coming back?

Hi @on_lothianbuses , just had odd situation on bus where driver told me my digital all day ticket wasn’t valid cos scrap of paper stuck to his ticket machine had a different number! Ticket was bought & activated today, used numerous times and no problem.

Told him that, he said must be my app was wrong. It’s not MY app!Perhaps needing a scrap of paper to know if it’s valid is the issue or maybe your app has bugs. He did let me on, given I’d just had to get off tram cos they’d stopped running to Leith there was no way I was moving!

I find april 1st very hard on this platform nowadays due to the ever more incredulous events that happen every day anyway, and the desire by some to pick a fight based on a 280 character comment. I’m focusing on lovely spring videos to keep me sane…youtu.be/8scpGwbvxvI?feature…

First walk in the Pentlands for ages, through the lovely thatched village of Swanston, up Caerketton hill, round by the ski slope then home past horses. Lovely day, a picnic was had, & March blues blown away #PentlandHills #Edinburgh #Caerketton #Swanston #HillWalking #SundayWalk
