Super proud to share a new QLever milestone. We loaded one trillion triples on a single AMD Ryzen 9 machine with 16 cores and 128 GB RAM 🚀 Index size is 6.5TB and the dataset runs even with less memory. Dataset: qlever.dev/one-trillion/ #RDF #SPARQL #KnowledgeGraphs

My work here is truly done. Nobody with intellectual integrity can still believe that pure scaling will get us to AGI. GPT-5 may be a moderate quantitative improvement (and it may be cheaper) but it still fails in all the same qualitative ways as its predecessors, on chess, on reasoning, in vision; even sometimes on counting and basic math. Hallucinations linger. Dozens of shots on goal (Grok, Claude, Gemini) etc have invariably faced the same problems. That’s exactly what it means to hit a wall, and exactly the set of obstacles I described in 2022. No hypothesis has ever been given more benefit of the doubt, nor more funding. Pure scaling simply isn’t the path to AGI. Attention was not all we needed. All I am saying, is give neurosymbolic AI with explicit world models a chance. 🫳 🎤

How close is every building 🏠 in Switzerland to the nearest public transport stop? 🚆 With QLever and some clean RDF data, this is easy. Magdalena and I show it in our new demo, crazy fast, super visual. 🎥 youtu.be/gnocVIoHVKk?si=Vlv1… #SpatialAnalytics #KnowledgeGraphs #OpenData

Proud to announce our second venture! We teamed up with the makers of the incredibly fast and scalable RDF triplestore QLever, to provide commercial support and services under QLeverize. If you have hard graph problems, let’s talk. linkedin.com/pulse/announcin…

(3/4) Now let’s discuss the soon-to-be sovereign wealth fund called Danantara, another reason cited for #IndonesiaGelap. This post might be a bit technical, so please read it slowly, we tried to explain it as simply as possible.

A very nice talk by Ora Lassila on semantic web and AI, problems with LLMs, and comparing RDF with labeled property graphs:

QLever is incredibly powerful. After converting all @DANS_knaw_nwo metadata into the Croissant ML knowledge graph, we finally began to understand our data. For example, we can now identify which epochs the coins in the archaeological @dataverseorg instance belong to.

Enjoying watching Adrian Gschwend @linkedktk present on langium.org/ and github.com/ad-freiburg/qleve… at Dagstuhl.

@martiniturbide FYI I'll shut down the old server somewhen this week. The new server is looking good with the exception of everything PHP/MySQL. Which means while TRAC & the rest will work, it will take some more time for getting Wikis & Blogs to work

looks like my version of everything is so old that it's using no longer supported php mysql functions so I need to do an upgrade of all that.

Hey #RDF twitter! Has anyone moved forward on some kind of git for triples? I find myself wanting that, ideally in #RDF4J, but a system description would help already. @Miel_vds @linkedktk @RubenVerborgh

It is a VSCode feature called Sticky Scroll, which was released in the August 2022 release, but was only enabled by default in the February 2024 release. It's a great feature that let the user be aware of the context while browsing nested objects or block of code.
