The preventive benefit of early introduction of peanut products decreases as age increases. In high peanut allergy area parents need to introduce peanut products into their infants’ diet at 4 to 6 months of life. See our paper: authors.elsevier.com/a/1gOgG…. @GoAllergy @jacionline

Love this paper on differential diagnosis & management of #reflux vs #foodallergy #cowsmilkallergy. Allergy focused history essential, don't use #PPIs <1 year age, consider #QoL issues & feeding difficulties. Well done @PaedDietitian @VenterCarina & all onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/…

#OAASEF2022 Harms of panel testing for foods - one study of 132 patients with eczema had panel testing and thus food elimination - lead to sensitization and then true food allergy in 36% of kids who were tolerating those foods previously! Don't test to foods one tolerates!

Always great to hear @PaedDietitian present. Fantastic overview on ARFID with very clear distinction from 'picky eating'. The 'hunger is good sauce' method doesn't work...they will just not eat. #WAOBSACI2022
