Shocked and saddened to learn of the death of Eric Gardner, longtime manager of Todd Rundgren. Eric was a lovely man and a friend. We worked on a number of projects. I owe him a debt of gratitude for access to Todd for my Rundgren biography, which changed my life. Thank you Eric.

Martin Mull had a huge effect on my life. When in my 20s I was thinking of switching from art teacher to comedy, I saw him on Merv Griffin talking about teaching art, then changing careers. I thought "He did it. So will I." Later I worked with him and thought hewas the greatest.
