What working out is expected when you just put the values in the calculator?
Do you need to show the standardising method for non-z distributions when you don’t actually do it?

I’m moving to a school next year that teaches mixed ability KS3 (Maths). I’ve never taught mixed ability before can anyone give any tips advice or point me in the direction of any literature that might be helpful?

If you’re marking an exam paper that pupils have done for homework/test, and the question says “round your answer to 1dp” with a required answer of 2.3, do you take a mark off if the pupil has put 2.26?
I know that technically it’s correct but I’m interested in actual practice?
