This morning
@GovKemp and Mayor Andre Dickens reaffirmed to the South Downtown residents, tenants, restauranteurs, and entrepreneurs the power of small businesses, community building, and Atlanta's tenacious entrepreneurial spirit and when combined has catapulted our city into one of America's shining stars.
We cut this ribbon 2 blocks from where Alonzo Herndon built an empire of barber shops he leveraged into one of the South's most successful insurance agencies.
We cut this ribbon 1 block over from Ted Turner Drive where the late Ted Turner created a new construct of media with 24/7 news.
We cut this ribbon a 7 min walk from the Mercedes-Benz Stadium where Home Depot co-founder Arthur Blank leads our Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United.
All of this possible through the power of entrepreneurship.
Now, we have a green space, Founders Green, where Atlantans can connect, create, and enjoy our downtown urban core.
Pictured below includes:

2) The hardworking Winter-Johnson Construction team who built the park.
3) The dedicated and persevering team of SoDo Atlanta, LLC and
@ATLTechVillage who made all of this possible.
4) A South Downtown tenant --
