I visited El Salvador in 2021 shortly and in 2023 extensively together with my wife and kids. The massive improvements in the security situation were palpable across the country. No idea how Bukele admin managed to free their people from the chokehold of the gangs, but they did.

Congratulations to @nayibbukele for winning the mandate from the Salvadoran people with an overwhelming democratic majority of 85% to continue his presidency for another 5 years. The positive change his administration has brought to El Salvador is undeniable.
