Leggendo certi commenti capisco una cosa, molte persone non aspettano più l’estate, la temono. Come fosse un incubo annunciato, con ansia e paura già a maggio. Questo, francamente, è un problema. Non perché il caldo non esista, ll clima di fondo è più caldo rispetto a qualche decennio fa, e negarlo sarebbe ridicolo. Un conto però è spiegarlo il caldo, un altro è educare le persone a vivere nella paura. Se già a maggio un'ondata di caldo diventa un motivo per logorare la testa delle persone con titoloni emotivamente carichi e pieni di angoscia non si fa altro che rendere le persone piu' stanche, fragili e confuse. Questo modo di comunicare è scandaloso e soprattutto è dannoso. Toglie lucidità, rende più difficile ascoltare anche le informazioni davvero utili, può aumentare perfino la percezione soggettiva del caldo e alimenta uno stato di ansia permanente che alla psiche non fa certo bene. Senza mettere la testa sotto la sabbia le ondate di caldo si affrontano e si spiegano senza usarle come bastone emotivo. E poi diciamolo, l’estate non è solo afa, disagio e bollettini rossi. È anche luce fino a tardi, giornate all’aperto, mare, montagna, viaggi, bambini che finiscono la scuola e si divertono giocando nei parchi e sulle spiagge, cene fuori, vita che si sposta un po’ di più fuori dalle case. Non accetterò mai che l'estate venga trasformata in una minaccia psicologica collettiva.

Si possono prendere sul serio virus, guerre, clima ed emergenze senza trasformare ogni notizia in una condanna psicologica collettiva. Per questo oggi voglio dire una cosa semplice: respirate. Non serve spegnere il cervello. Serve non consegnarlo alla paura. Guardate anche ciò che funziona. La primavera che fa la primavera. La pioggia che nutre i suoli. L’aria che cambia. La natura che, nonostante tutto, continua a seguire i suoi ritmi. La scienza, quando è comunicata bene, non serve ad aumentare l’ansia. Serve a dare misura. Un popolo informato ragiona. Chi dice che il GNL Americano è più caro? Lo dicono IEA, Eurostat e SNAM. Nel 2022-23 costava fino a cinque volte di più. Oggi il gas Russo viaggia a 30 euro al megawattora, quello Americano tra i 70 e i 95. Quasi il triplo, a volte il triplo esatto. Ai soliti dalla doppia morale suggerisco di portarsi bandiera ucraina e Americana quando vanno a pagare la bolletta. Dubito facciano lo sconto, ma almeno si consoleranno con il sapere che stanno pagando l'orgoglio di essere dalla "parte giusta". Peccato che la parte giusta lo faccia pagare non solo sulla loro pelle, ma su quella di tutti. Quella "sbagliata", invece, lo dava a un prezzo umano. Ma l'umano, si sa, non fa profitto.
