Today marks the start of Baby Loss Awareness Week (9–15 October) a time to remember our precious babies and raise awareness of pregnancy and baby loss. With maternity safety under scrutiny, we must do more to prevent avoidable losses and make care safer. #BabyLossAwarenessWeek

ALT Early warning systems for newborns (NEWTT2) and maternity (MEWS) are helping keep babies and mothers safe by supporting staff to identify and respond to deterioration.
