Jack Eichel on the Vegas Golden Knights being called an “evil empire” by fans:
"I don't know, it's a place a lot of people want to play. So it can't be that bad, right? It can't be that much of an evil empire. I mean, you can say it's because we're aggressive and maybe we do things a little differently, this or that. But obviously whatever the organization's been doing, and I've only been a part of it for half the time, but obviously whatever the organization's been doing, they've been doing something right, right? It's had success and that starts with our owner and Bill Foley and George McPhee and Kelly McCrimmon and everyone else that's been a part of it. And that runs through our training staff, that runs through our equipment staff, that runs through all the people that work in our front office and work in the business side of things. So I think you feel that when you're there and you spend more time there it's a great organization to be a part of. It's a great city to live in. It's a great city to play for. I have nothing but great things to say about the organization. Sometimes when people have success and good things happen, other people like to try and drag them down. So it is what it is."
