As our astronauts make their way home from around the Moon, I’m reminded of the words of the Psalmist: “When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers—the moon and the stars you set in place—what are mere mortals that you should think about them,human beings that you should care for them?” (Ps.8) The Creator of this vast solar system — the One who set the Moon in its place — loves you and thinks about you. You could say His love for you is truly “over the moon!.” The four astronauts aboard Artemis II — Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen — splashdown today off the coast of San Diego after a historic 10-day mission that broke the record for the farthest distance ever traveled by human beings. New Year Prayer Heavenly Father, As we step into this New Year 2026, we thank You for bringing us safely through the past year. Thank You for Your protection, Your mercy, and Your love that never failed us, even in difficult times. Lord, we place this new year into Your hands. Please guide our steps, order our thoughts, and guard our hearts. Fill our lives with peace where there is fear, strength where there is weakness, and hope where there is uncertainty. Help us to walk in wisdom and truth each day. Bless our families, our work, and our health. Remove anxiety, sickness, and confusion from our lives. Renew our minds, strengthen our bodies, and uplift our spirits. Teach us to trust You completely and not be afraid of the future. May this year be filled with Your grace, favor, and purpose. Help us to love others, forgive quickly, and live with gratitude. Let Your light shine through us in everything we do. We commit the year 2026 to You, Lord. We will all face Adversity but we all deal with it differently. Adversity illuminates the true character that resides inside of all of us. We should use Adversity to develop the person we desire to be & not shy away from the calamity it presents. #CoachPrime
