Oculus Dash is bringing in 2D apps into VR with Hybrid Apps. You can see the spatial 3D model while still having the robustness of the full 2D interface available. We'll need a resolution update of Rift 1.0 to take full advantage of this, but it's a new novel, & powerful concept.
