Crypto Gamings biggest issue isn't retention. Everyone keeps looking for the next big game & comparing retention numbers claiming they are the key to success. We all keep saying the game needs to have a stable economy or needs to be fun, etc etc blah blah! But that is not the biggest issue we face! The biggest issue is onboarding. Have you ever tried to find a new game in this cluttered space? It's one big chaos of: Trying to find one to start with. There is literally no library that shows active playable games. If you do manage to find a game then you have to figure out where you can then download it. Well now, you manage to boot it up. Time to play, right? JOKES! Now it is time to: Head to this website. Create that wallet. Link X Y Z socials and verify your email. And now, now you've lost every traditional gamer ever. We don't want to do any of that crap. Let me use my gmail, press of a button and let me play the god darn game. Before you focus on retention, focus on onboarding first, because if we have to do all of the above to play your game? You lost us already.

We are still chasing the next great game!! Welcome to Episode 2 of my latest series: Sky's Gaming Chain Spotlight! Last week we checked out Solana Gaming & honestly, it was a bit disappointing that the team didn't even interact with the tweet! But either way, we keep on moving onwards! This week, we are checking out: Gaming on Enjin! This chain is not talked about enough, given the number of quality games sitting on it! So the usual question is: What's happening, what games have we got?! Well, I dug deep & found these bangers: Operation Safe Place, also known as @OSP_TD. The gameplay is chaotic; it's fun, it's exactly what this space needs! It's a mix of 3rd person shooter in a Tower Defense setting, and the graphics are insanely smooth and detailed! On top of the great gameplay, the community is amazing & the team is insanely fun to speak to, and they are so down to earth; honestly, I can feel a long term friendship building! MisFit Galaxy, going by @misfitgalaxymmo. I love, love, loveeeee spaceship games! If I could live in space, I would! This game is currently in an extremely early build, but g'damn! It's fun & they already have a vibrant community that tries to recruit you into their guilds! The game runs smoothly & already has a great game loop built in, so I am super excited to see what's next, & from speaking with @prisonmikeio, I can sense how passionate he is about it! Change of pace now as the 3rd game I am keeping a close eye on is: Lost Relics, @LostRelicsGame looks like they are fully focused on building, having hit 3 of their 4 Roadmap goals, with the 4th one being the one that intrigues me the most! The game itself is an ARPG where you go on adventures, battle monsters & find hella loot! I've not yet had the pleasure of speaking to the team, but hopefully this tweet gets their attention? GUYS DO YOUR THING?! There are also a couple of other games on the chain, but these 3 are easily the most exciting ones, and a huge shoutout to @soulsalwayson for the intro to Enjin!
