GALLOWAY'S BREAKTHROUGH AND THE REBIRTH OF LEFT-WING POLITICS
George Galloway's recent victory is politically historical in the true sense of the word. It ushers in a new era of dissident politics in the West, which can really be regarded as the revival of traditional left-wing politics.
Bernie Sanders, Syriza and Jeremy Corbyn during their incipience were minor instances of an attempt to establish a left-wing alternative to the demagogic, confused, and often reactionary 'populisms,' defined by petty anti-immigrant sentiment, confusion, and dominated completely by hucksters and grifters.
The incipient left-populists quickly succumbed to the 'pan-leftist' pathogen, allowing bourgeois liberals to hijack and drive these movements to the ground.
Since 2016, we witnessed not only a retreat, but a complete eradication of distinctly left wing politics, with 'leftists' falling in line behind the liberal hegemony to create a bulwark against the Right.
But what have we seen?
The complete destruction of the Right as well. Trump's MAGA movement was never successfully captured by European-style nationalism. Trump himself staffed his cabinet with GOP swamp monsters.
In France, Le Pen failed utterly in defeating Macron.
In Italy, Meloni, like earlier 'left-populists' (i.e. syriza) immediately bamboozled her voters.
The Right has been decline across all the Western world. While Yellow Vest and Farmer's revolts gained traction, they weren't lead by any definite political consciousness.
The 'populist Right' has culminated in the WEF shill Milei, who cements its historical destruction all together.
In Germany, while the AfD appeared to be gaining ground, it is on the backfoot amidst the rise of Sara Wagenknecht's new left-wing party.
For many years, a traditional Left has gradually re-entered political consciousness, but only at the fringes. My own efforts have been part of this, with Infrared - alongside my collegue Jackson Hinkle, and as a result MAGA Communism has consolidated itself as a distinct tendency, however niche, in US politics.
The complete destruction of all the 'Right Wing' political movements that emerged in the aftermath of 2016 has created a total vacuum in any meaningfully dissident politics.
Even famous 'white nationalist' Richard Spencer was among the first to observe this, provocatively endorsing Biden in the 2020 elections, aware of the fact that the liberal hegemony is far more of an adequate reality of Right-consciousness than vulgar, 'brown' populism.
Our own stance has been vindicated. Galloway's victory proves the viability of an authentic left-wing.
No longer can anyone regard the modern revival of traditional left-wing as an anachronism confined to the fringes. No longer can anyone dismiss 'MAGA Communism' as a contradictory, incoherent political chimerism.
Galloway is already dividing UK society in the best of possible ways. He stands as the only effective challenge against the hegemony in the UK.
He has earned the ire of not only left-liberals enraged by his lack of political correctness, but also the Right Wing. He refuses to lower himself to petty demagoguery or target the UK's minorities.
The liberal Center is obviously terrified of him.
None of this should come as a surprise. The Left-Wing, historically, just refers to the party of movement, and of revolutionary change.
The true anomaly in the West is that for many years, the 'left' came to denote those who were the most furiously devoted to defending the ruling class hegemony.
This anomaly is coming to an end, and things are returning now to their proper place.
Galloway is set to polarize UK society in a way that will correctly reveal its true fault lines along class lines. The era of confusion over muddied 'culture wars' is over.
Now begins the true war against the imperialist ruling class.
