A whole lot of people don’t realize that God doesn’t like racism! In the Bible, Moses, who was a Jew, married an Ethiopian black woman named Zipporah. His sister Mariam was furious. She did not want Zipporah getting any ideas that she was as good as the rest of them. She started rumors about her and instigated division among the people. God was furious. He struck Mariam, who was a a High Priest, with a skin disease…much like leprosy. Her skin became snowy white. This was her punishment and she was cast out from her people until it left a week later, but God had made his point. God created all races. He just wants them to act right and get along. Nobody is better than anyone else no matter how much they think they are. So when they start saying, “I think nobody but such and such a race should be in this country and every other race needs to stay out!” That’s called racism. When you have people whose religion says they have a right to kill anybody else besides themselves, that’s called radical extremism or terrorism. It’s time to look in the mirror and see yourselves for who you really are.
