The classic AI bro Doesn't know anything about programming, tells you programming is over
personally i haven’t built anything but that doesn’t mean programmers aren’t cooked. they are 👍🏿

Insane Llama 4 with 10m context
Introducing our first set of Llama 4 models! We’ve been hard at work doing a complete re-design of the Llama series. I’m so excited to share it with the world today and mark another major milestone for the Llama herd as we release the *first* open source models in the Llama 4 collection 🦙. Here are some highlights: 📌 The Llama series have been re-designed to use state of the art mixture-of-experts (MoE) architecture and natively trained with multimodality. We’re dropping Llama 4 Scout & Llama 4 Maverick, and previewing Llama 4 Behemoth. 📌 Llama 4 Scout is highest performing small model with 17B activated parameters with 16 experts. It’s crazy fast, natively multimodal, and very smart. It achieves an industry leading 10M token context window and can also run on a single GPU! 📌 Llama 4 Maverick is the best multimodal model in its class, beating GPT-4o and Gemini 2.0 Flash across a broad range of widely reported benchmarks, while achieving comparable results to the new DeepSeek v3 on reasoning and coding – at less than half the active parameters. It offers a best-in-class performance to cost ratio with an experimental chat version scoring ELO of 1417 on LMArena. It can also run on a single host! 📌 Previewing Llama 4 Behemoth, our most powerful model yet and among the world’s smartest LLMs. Llama 4 Behemoth outperforms GPT4.5, Claude Sonnet 3.7, and Gemini 2.0 Pro on several STEM benchmarks. Llama 4 Behemoth is still training, and we’re excited to share more details about it even while it’s still in flight. A big thanks to all of our launch partners (full list in blog) for helping us bring Llama 4 to developers everywhere including @huggingface, @togethercompute, @SnowflakeDB, @ollama, @databricks and many others👏 This is just the start, we have more models coming and the team is really cooking – look out for Llama 4 Reasoning 😉 A few weeks ago, we celebrated Llama being downloaded over 1 billion times. Llama 4 demonstrates our long-term commitment to open source AI, the entire open source AI community, and our unwavering belief that open systems will produce the best small, mid-size and soon frontier models. Llama would be nothing without the global open source AI community & we are so ready to begin this next chapter with you. 🦙 Read more about the release here: llama.com/, and try it in our products today.

How are you doing builders? What have you done this week so far? We still have some time till Sunday 🏗️ I'll share my weekly progress so far on the new web app am working on: - Configured dev and production environment with this setup: - 3 replicas for web application server - 3 replicas for API server - Replica set for database in MongoDB - Redis - RabbitMQ as a message broker - Launching soon page with video and simple form to sign up for waitlist which is available on production server (mivia.app) - Created social media pages at X, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook - Researched Facebook and Instagram integration - Done integration with Brevo for sending transactional emails - Done integration with R2 buckets for storing public files - Simple registration via email and password sending activation link - Account activation page - Login via email and password - User dashboard panel design implementation - User profile page allowing for updating user details avatar image - Updating user password - Password reset - Changing email flow - Updating organization (team) details Still have bunch of tasks on my list to accomplish this week - fingers crossed! 🤞 Keep building!!🫡 #buildinpublic #ai #nodejs #WebDevelopment #SaaS

Google Gemini 2.5 refers to itself as smarter model 😅 asked Gemini to do something and this happened: The reapply didn't work either. It seems the smarter model is also struggling to apply this specific fix. #Gemini #google

This - you can get in one prompt with Gemini 2.5 Pro. It is done in WebGL, running fully just in the browser. Can't get over it what you can do nowadays easily. In the past it took me hours and hours to do such thing in Unity, now one prompt and you are done. Amazing times to live in. #ai #gemini #google @GeminiApp @GoogleAI

🚧 This is my setup of what I am working on, it is built for scalability and high availability, and why programmers must go beyond the code - Users access a web app and real-time chat widget - Web App & API: Core app (replicas) and API (replicas) connect to Redis HA (caching), MongoDB Replica Set (data redundancy), and RabbitMQ (async tasks) - Third-Party Integrations: Stripe, AI APIs (Gemini, xAI, OpenAI), and social media (LinkedIn, X, TikTok) - Scalability: Horizontal scaling, caching, and async processing handle growth - High Availability: HA databases ensure uptime 💡So why you as a programmer should even bother? Scalable design is critical - what works on your local or with 100 users, might simply not work when there is 100,000 users because of the design decisions made at the beginning 1. Growth: Handle traffic spikes without crashing (e.g., caching with Redis) 2. Reliability: HA setups (MongoDB, Redis, Services Replicas) prevent downtime, preserving user trust 3. Performance: Async tasks (RabbitMQ) and caching keep the app fast. 4. Cost Efficiency: Optimize resources to save money 5. Business Needs: Integrate features like AI and social media reliably Understanding infrastructure ensures your app thrives at scale, not just works. Making reliable online applications is more than just a code and nice looking design. And if you want to scale to millions of users, there is even more which needs to be done eg. separate databases for write/read, data sharding etc - but that can be whole another topic #WebDevelopment #Scalability #HighAvailability #SoftwareEngineering #NodeJS
