The problem of living and working in China is that your evening can be easily compromised by calls/emails with the rest of the world
for this reason my bedtime cannot be earlier than:
- 11:30pm-12:30am
Europe timezone is better

Realistic sleeping time is 6 or max 7 hours
I know everyone says to go to bed early and sleep at least 8 hrs
but
In reality i go to bed at 11:30/12 and get up at 6
Weekend go to bed later and sleep maybe 7 hrs

Shenzhen is now a mega city with more than 18 millions inhabitants
It's probably the fastest growing in China and the most dynamic
If i had to choose another location in China after Shanghai, i'd go to Shenzhen for sure!

Shenzhen released its 2025 statistical bulletin. Its permanent population reached 18.2485 million, exceeding 18 million for the first time, an increase of 259,000 from 2024, leading China’s first-tier cities.
The increase accounted for 32.8% of Guangdong’s total. Driven by a robust economy, industries and youth policies, Shenzhen’s population grows steadily. It plans to control permanent population within 19 million by 2035.

Once in a while i check on Alibaba for new products and suppliers
Have to say that the quality of listed companies has deteriorated and prices are above market
Also the platform has not changed since 20 years (yes they added AI but doesn't work well)
You can see Alibaba is a different company now focused on other more lucrative businesses and don't care about their original one

Real case of Chinese healthcare experience happened to us:
Need do MRI
1) public hospital (top in China): 2 weeks wait time
cost 57 usd
2) Private hospital: walk in, have a doctor prescribe MRI, do MRI after 15 minutes, results after 3 hours
