Cheap, clean, rapidly deployable energy is upstream of all our industrial hopes and dreams. @valaratomics is making that a reality. Great time to be in energy and critical metals.
Thanks @SantiagoPliego for the invite! What a group of people.
3 months ago, I quit my job to chase a dream: to build an affordable, convenient, plastic-free coffee maker.
Grateful for everyone who has reserved ❤️

Buy crusty old equipment → strip it down → re-make it better → redeploy → repeat x1000.
Way more efficient than melting down the metal and starting all over.
Another week of unimaginable horrors and conspiracy theories confirmed...
Anyway! Back to work on the transformer biz. Gotta control the controllable.
Touch metal.
If the US is going to reindustrialize, we need lots of manufacturing startups.
The problem is, starting a company that actually makes things here is SUPER hard. Plus you have to compete with cheap imports.
We can make stuff at scale in the US again... but only if we help each other.
So my company is giving away a free American-made transformer to a deserving factory startup. Up to 1000 kVA.
It's just one piece of building (or rebuilding) a factory, but it's our little way of helping the next gen of American manufacturers get started.
If your building something important, shoot me an email, or pass it along to someone who is: mac@maddox.com
@reindsummit
An engineer at a textile mill ordered a transformer from us after their main unit failed.
We drew, built, and shipped them a reman replacement in weeks, not months or years.
